This is currently a manual service in which letters are scanned, by the sender, to a shared drive from which they can be printed by mailroom staff. The ADOA Mailroom provides a limited printing, folding, and inserting service. It is printed on the MICR line at the bottom of checks and consists of the check, account, and bank routing numbers. This type of printing is most often used for printing checks. The ADOA Mailroom provides Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) printing services, a means of printing information that can be read electronically. The ADOA Mailroom provides a Mail Scanning service in which inbound mail is opened, scanned, and delivered to the agency or division electronically. Service charges are postage and fees plus a 14% mailroom surcharge. The ADOA Mailroom provides USPS and FedEx outbound services for 87 Agencies or divisions and provides backup services for 10 other agencies. The ADOA Mailroom provides interagency pickup/delivery services for 101 State agencies in 122 locations.
